Desirre's lifelong passion for supporting women through the amazing and intense process of birth was developed and her love for pregnancy and breastfeeding was deepened when she attended her first birth in 1987. Over the ensuing years she helped family and friends prenatally and with breastfeeding while occasionally assisting in births. In 1993, she began her work as a birth professional and soon after trained with CAPPA. She has become certified by CAPPA and Lamaze International and offers labor doula services, comprehensive childbirth education classes, lactation education, and CAPPA Childbirth Educator and Labor Doula Trainings.
