Brandy Segin CD(DONA) has been married for nine years and is the mother of three wonderful children.  Her family is the light of her life.  Although she has lived on both coasts, she has called Colorado Springs her home for the last 20 years.  She graduated from the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs with a Bachelors Degree in Anthropology.  However, she feels being a Birth Doula is her true calling having had a life-long interest in pregnancy and birth and a passion for supporting women and their partners through the birth process into parenthood.  She supported friends and family in pregnancy and birth before becoming a professional doula in 2003 and seeking certification. She is currently a Certified Birth Doula through DONA International.  Brandy is passionate about the value and importance of the birth experience which creates memories that last a lifetime.

Brandy supports every mom and her partner in having the birth experience she/they desire with evidenced based information, as well as emotional and physical support.  She is committed to aiding parents in developing a flexible birth plan that reflects their desires, and then strives to support the parents in their birth plan during labor and birth.  Brandy trusts in the natural ability of the mother and baby to navigate all of the hills and valleys of labor and birth especially with excellent support and accurate information.

Brandy's ultimate goal is to support every woman's unique way of staying connected to her body, her baby and her birth experience.
