Antepartum Doulas
Antepartum doulas support pregnant women experiencing a difficult or high-risk pregnancy or just need some extra help during their pregnancy.
An Antepartum Doula supports the pregnant mama in many ways. They can provide specific information on the client's pregnancy, including information for support groups.
All pregnant women need emotional support, but those who are having a difficult or high-risk pregnancy may need even more. An Antepartum Doula knows how to support these special women.
When a pregnant woman needs extra help around the house, an Antepartum Doula can be there to help watch other kids, cook light meals, laundry, light housework, and many other things. The specific services of an antepartum doula can vary and should be discussed during an interview.
